Mobile Craft Cocktail & Wine Bar Launches In Coronado | The Bellhop Bar Opens For Limited Residency At Loews Coronado Bay Resort

October 22, 2018

Loews Coronado Bay Resort is nodding to the past and serving up locally, handcrafted cocktails with the recent launch of The Bellhop Bar, a retrofitted steamer trunk packed with bespoke beverages stored in antique apothecary-style bottles, now on display in Cays Lounge from 5-7pm daily through mid-January 2019.

The Bellhop Bar by Loews Hotels was born out of the success of the brand’s unique beverage concept, The Traveller Bar, which ended its two-plus year run in January of this year, and drew inspiration from the golden age of the cocktail era. The launch of this promotion continues to tap into the concept of traveler past, where vagabonds would pack their belongings in wardrobe trunks for extended journeys.

"Let us unpack a hand-crafted cocktail for you from The Bellhop Bar, with a nod to travelers of generations past," said Eric Jenkins, Food & Beverage Director at Loews Coronado Bay Resort. "We’ve utilized homegrown sage and California citrus to bring you a taste of Coronado as we gather to celebrate together in our Cays Lounge."

Guests are able to walk up to The Bellhop Bar and choose from two pre-batched cocktails that use Angel’s Envy Bourbon or Hangar One Vodka. Additionally, a red and sparkling wine are featured, The Count by Buena Vista Winery, which is the oldest winery in the United States and Conundrum, one of the most recognized sparkling wines on the market. Also, every night at 5pm, Loews Coronado Bay Resort will conduct an opening bell ritual to announce the bar is now in service.

Loews Coronado Bay Resort is located at 4000 Coronado Bay Road on the Coronado Strand. For more information about The Bellhop Bar, visit loewshotels.com/bellhop-bar.
