Eureka! restaurants will open its third San Diego location as part of LIFT - the new creative mixed-use development currently being constructed in Carlsbad's Bressi Ranch area.
Founded by Paul Frederick and Justin Nedelman in Hawthorne, California in 2009, Eureka! is an American gastropub chain with more than 20 locations, including outposts in San Diego's Westfield UTC and in the SDSU College Area. The restaurant specializes in American classics with a modern twist and offers an ample menu centered around an eclectic selection of starters, scratch-made comfort foods, signature burgers, and a dedication to local craft beers, small-batch whiskeys and classic cocktails.
The new San Diego location of Eureka! will be installed as part of Lift, a mixed-use development by local real estate developer, RAF Pacifica Group. Characterized by its open plan and high-end creative environment with brand new energy efficient buildings, Lift will consist of two loft-style buildings totaling 53,106 square-feet situated on a 4.43-acre site. The first building consists of two full floors of creative office space totaling 34,660 square-feet of space, with the second building being 18,446 square-foot with 8,496 square-feet of ground floor restaurant space and 9,950 square-feet of second floor creative office space. The development will feature a multi-purpose lawn, outdoor BBQ areas, a fire room lounge, outdoor meeting hubs, an amphitheater, plus rooftop decks topping both buildings. There is no word on how much space Eureka! will occupy and what other restaurants will be sited on the property. Nearby, The Square at Bressi Ranch is also going through a substantial reinvigoration that includes the additions of Bird Rock Coffee Roasters, Mendocino Farms, Richard Walker's Pancake House, Panini Kabob Grill, Ebullition Brew Works, Mango Mango Fresh & Healthy, Wood Ranch BBQ, Casero Taqueria, The Grove Bakery, and Bantam's Roost Gastropub.
