The owner of San Diego's The Hopping Pig Gastropub and Farmers Bottega will open Two Blu Ducks later this year in the heart of North Park with a breakfast-focused menu.
From experienced San Diego restaurateur Djani Ivanov - who operates The Hopping Pig Gastropub in downtown San Diego, Farmers Bottega in Mission Hills, and previously owned Olivetto Cafe & Wine Bar and Aqua Blue - Two Blu Ducks is moving into the long dormant space at 2835 University Avenue in the center of San Diego's North Park community. The 3,500 square-foot space is currently being designed with a muted chromatic palette featuring rustic wood elements and a modern industrial decor. Two Blu Ducks is a concept still very much in development, but the menu will be breakfast and brunch focused. The eatery will also have a bar serving beer, wine and Champagne cocktails.
Two Blu Ducks is not expected to open until this summer at the earliest. For more information, check out the artistic renderings below.
