Now open inside Liberty Public Market in San Diego's Liberty Station is Liberty Chik, a stand specializing in the emerging culinary trend of Nashville hot chicken.
Located in the space that last held Roma Express next to RakiRaki, Liberty Chik soft opened this past weekend with a grand opening scheduled for Saturday, August 31. The eatery offers a concise menu centered around boneless Nashville fried hot chicken at various spice levels, served by the piece, in combos and in sandwich form. There is also a list of sides including mac n' cheese, Tennessee mustard slaw, fries, cheese fries, and Bonuts - biscuit donuts. The new Liberty Public Market vendor is owned by Alfredo DiNunzio Jr., who also operated Roma Express and the market’s Liberty Meat Shop, which are now both united in the former meat shop space and named Roma Express Italian Deli.
Liberty Chik is located inside Liberty Public Market at 2820 Historic Decatur Road within Liberty Station in San Diego's Point Loma.
