A 6,000 square-foot restaurant specializing in sushi served via conveyor belt is coming to San Diego's Kearny Mesa. Mikami Revolving Sushi & Cajun Seafood is set to unveil this fall.
Set to open as early as next month in the same plaza as Lolita's Mexican Food off Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, Mikami Bar & Revolving Sushi is owned by JJ Lin and will be the second San Diego eatery that offers sushi served via revolving conveyor belt, with Kura Revolving Sushi being the first. Mikami will have two separate dining rooms, one with a belt spinning sushi dishes past booths and another with Cantonese stir fryers presennging Cajun seafood boils. There will also be a bar with sake, wine and beer.
