Cajun Seafood Boil Concept Crab Pub To Replace Hooters In San Diego's South County

March 12, 2021

Louisiana-inspired seafood boil restaurant Crab Pub is opening a location in San Diego's South County, taking over the 7,000 square-foot space that last housed a branch of Hooters in Westfield Plaza Bonita.

Nicky Lee opened the flagship Crab Pub restaurant in 2015 in San Diego's College Area, offering a menu centered around seafood boils with Cajun, Californian and Asian flavors. The restaurant will soon replicate in San Diego's National City, opening later this year in the sprawling space that long housed Hooters.

Like other Cajun seafood boil concepts, Crab Pub serves a menu centered around seafood, mainly seafood boils served in a plastic bag covered in seasonings and sauces. The eatery also serves a variety of appetizers like fried shrimp, oysters, wings, fried seafood baskets, fries, and more. The new location will also offer a list of beer, wine and sake.

Crab Pub is expected to open at 3030 Plaza Bonita Road, Suite 1430, within Westfield Plaza Bonita in National City by this summer. For more information, visit crabpub.com and check out the menu below.
