Native American-Owned Rincon Reservation Road Brewery To Open Tasting Room In San Diego's Ocean Beach

April 1, 2021

Moving into the space previously occupied by Belching Beaver Brewery in San Diego's Ocean Beach is a tasting room from Rincon Reservation Road Brewery, Southern California's first Native American tribe-owned craft brewery.
The Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians opened Rincon Reservation Road Brewery (3R Brewery) in late January 2020 in the 5,000 square-foot space adjacent to Harrah's Southern California Resort's casino in Valley Center, CA , replacing former beer concept SR76 Beerworks. Billed as the first certified Native American owned and operated brewery on tribal land in Southern California, the brewery and beer offerings attempt to tell the story of the rich history of the Rincon tribe.

Rincon Reservation Road Brewery has recently taken over the Newport Avenue space that last housed Belching Beaver Brewery next door to Gianni Buonomo Vintners for the company's first satellite tasting room. Guests can expect a tap list featuring a variety of 3R Brewery craft beers, including its four signature brews - the Oasis Blonde Ale, Rez Dog Hefeweizen, Red Rattler-Amber Ale, and Chief IPA.

Rincon Reservation Road Brewery is expected to open its tasting room by this summer at 4837 Newport Avenue in San Diego's Ocean Beach. In the meantime, guests can visit 3R Brewery's original location at at 777 South Resort Drive in Valley Center, CA. For more information, visit 3rbrewery.com.
