Wolf Larsen's Alehouse To Replace Thunderhawk Alements In San Diego's Miramar

March 31, 2021

Moving into the industrial space that last housed Thunderhawk Alements in San Diego's Miramar area is Wolf Larsen's Alehouse, an ocean-inspired craft beer taproom, wine bar and bottle shop opening later this year.

Thunderhawk Alements shuttered last year after a nearly 4 year run, citing a fallout among partners. The indoor/outdoor space has recently been taken over by longtime friends Jeremy DeConcini, Jason Adams, and Justin Noblin for the opening of Wolf Larsen’s Alehouse. DeConcini is a former Special Agent for the US Department of Homeland Security who worked in undercover weapons smuggling and non-proliferation, as well as anti-terrorism and narcotics efforts. He is also the founder of MotoSonora Brewing Company in Tucson, AZ and is on the board for the California Innocence Project.

Named after the antagonist from Jack London's acclaimed novel The Sea-Wolf, Wolf Larsen's will have a tap list featuring some of San Diego’s top craft beers, as well as a retail area selling packaged beer and wine from around the world. The taproom will feature rotating food trucks and vendors supplying eats. Once open, the bar may partner with an area brewery to brew a house beer to keep on the draft system.

Wolf Larsen's Alehouse is expected to open by late summer to early fall at 8675 Miralani Drive, Suite #100, in San Diego's Miramar area. For more information, follow the company's Instagram page
