San Diego's Dirty Birds Rolls Out Chicken-Focused Food Truck

September 10, 2021

San Diego's king of chicken wings with 5 area locations, Dirty Birds sports bar and grill has rolled out a food truck.

Dirty Birds founders Jon Ollis and Adam Jacoby opened the restaurant’s original location in Pacific Beach in 2008, followed by a second in 2015 near the college area of San Diego State University. The third branch of Dirty Birds debuted within Liberty Station in Point Loma in December 2016. In 2019, Dirty Birds launched its 4th location within Ocean Beach Plaza. Last year, the 5th area location of Dirty Birds sports bar and grill has opened on the University of California San Diego campus in La Jolla in the space that housed Round Table Pizza for almost three decades.

Dirty Birds is now going mobile with the addition of the Dirty Birds Food Truck, owned and operated by Dirty Birds partner Noli Zosa. Its home will be at the American Legion Post 731 in Linda Vista but is also available for bookings for parties and events. The food truck will serve a scaled back menu compared to its brick-and-mortar locations. Expect more than 20 different chicken wing flavors, boneless chicken, a chicken sandwich, smothered fries and tots, onion rings, and cheddar breaded cauliflower.

Dirty Birds food truck will be open Monday through Friday from noon to 8pm at 7245 Linda Vista Road in the American Legion parking lot in San Diego's Linda Vista. Email [email protected] to book the truck for private events. For more information, visit dirtybirdsbarandgrill.com and check out the menu below.
