Liberty Public Market Food Hall Set To Expand Big In San Diego's Point Loma

November 3, 2021

San Diego's nearly 6-year-old Liberty Public Market food hall is set to greatly expand its footprint in the coming year.

As the food hall craze continues to gain traction around San Diego and the rest of the nation, Liberty Public Market has secured its place as San Diego’s prosperous trailblazer, consistently attracting the national spotlight for its collection of gourmet artisan and chef-driven concepts from publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Vogue, Los Angeles Times, Sunset Magazine and more. Having opened doors in March of 2016 within Liberty Station in Point Loma, the evolution continues as the ownership group, Coronado-based Blue Bridge Hospitality, announces it will add approximately 6,000 square-feet of addition space to the current 25,000 square-foot footprint.

Blue Bridge Hospitality has taken over the adjacent space that last housed a bike shop and will add several new vendors in the coming months, including Belgian street food concept Mathide de Belgique, the Mini Donut Company, and Middle Eastern food specialist Kebab Craft. The Bottlecraft area will also expand to add a wine and cocktail component. The outdoor area at the market will also grow by double with the addition of 5,000 square-feet of additional patio space that will eventually host live entertainment and themed events.

Liberty Public Market is located at 2820 Historic Decatur Road within Liberty Station in San Diego's Point Loma. For more information, visit bluebridgehospitality.com/libertypublicmarket.
