Wellness Center & Cafe The Lullabar Set To Open In San Diego

April 8, 2022

A cafe, self-care hub, and wellness center built for mothers, The Lullabar will soon open in San Diego's North County.

Founded by partners Stephanie Issa and Christine Ong Forsythe, The Lullabar is a wellness cafe concept for mothers to enjoy self care services while the little ones are safely entertained in an onsite play gym. The business will offer 30-45 minute massages, manicures, educational workshops, as well as barre fitness classes. There will also be a cafe with healthy snacks and coffee drinks for patrons to enjoy.

"My team and I are excited to provide a safe space for mothers and caregivers in San Diego," commented Co-CEO and Co-Founder Stephanie Issa. "We currently have 700 women on our waiting list and the list keeps growing!"

The first location of The Lullabar aims to open by year's end within The Beacon La Costa shopping center in Carlsbad. Formerly La Costa Towne Center, the North County shopping center recently underwent a $10 million renovation and has since attracted several multi-million-dollar tenants, including a location of Shake Shack that recently opened, a branch of Los Angeles-based Sweetgreen salad chain, and incoming eateries Ohio-based Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, the second location of San Diego-based Trust Restaurant Group's The Wise Ox Butcher & Eatery, and a new location of San Diego's Michelin-recogized modern taqueria Lola 55.

The Lullabar is anticipated to open this fall at 7720 El Camino Real in San Diego's North County city of Carlsbad. For more information, visit thelullabar.com
