Crushed Ready To Bring All-Day Brunch To San Diego's North Park

September 26, 2022

Nearly a year after taking over the space previously occupied by Swami's Cafe in San Diego's North Park, Crushed will open later this week with an all-day-brunch menu and mimosa flights.

Crushed is a beach-themed, all-day brunch restaurant founded in October 2014 by brother-and-sister duo Andrew & Amy Ballester. The bar and eatery quickly became a popular dining destination in San Diego's Pacific Beach, with hungry patrons lining up in droves for a chance to sample the brunch-inspired menu. The Ballesters hope to replicate the success of their flagship branch with the opening of a new location in North Park.

The North Park location of Crushed will grand open with a free-to-attend but ticketed party on Saturday, October 1, from 5-9pm. The event will include complimentary apps, wine and craft beer tastings, happy hour specials all night, the introduction of the restaurant's new vegan and dinner menus, raffles to support McKineley Elementary school and DJ music throughout the evening. Like the original restaurant, Crushed North Park will serve an all-day menu featuring sweet and savory breakfast dishes, smothered fries, Benedicts, sliders, flatbreads, salads, tacos, pastas and other entrees. From the bar, expect a selection of San Diego craft beers, "breakfast beer" concoctions, and a large variety of mimosas available in flight samplers.

Crushed will open this week at 2920 University Avenue in San Diego's North Park. For more information, visit barcrushed.com and check out the menus below.
