Nick Cannon's Wild N' Out Sports Bar Closes Downtown San Diego Location After Less Than A Year In Business

January 4, 2023

Nick Cannon's MTV show-inspired Wild N' Out Sports Bar & Arcade has shuttered in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter after less than a year in business.

After more than three years in development, actor, entertainer, producer and television personality Nick Cannon unveiled his Wild 'N Out restaurant concept in downtown San Diego in late February 2022. Sited on the base floor of the Theatre Box complex in the Gaslamp Quarter, the two-story, 3,500 square-foot San Diego location aimed to bring the celebrity's hit MTV show into bar form but struggled to appeal to customers. Over the course of its short tenure, Wild 'N Out had rather atrocious online reviews, including 2.5 stars on Yelp and 3.2 stars on Google.

There is no word on the reason behind the closure of Wild'N Out in downtown San Diego. Nick Cannon recently had his 12th child, so maybe he wanted to take some time off to enjoy his ever-growing family.

Wild ‘N Out Sports Bar & Arcade was located at 701 6th Avenue in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. For more information, visit wildnoutsportsbarandarcade.com.
