Bobboi Natural Gelato To Open New Location In San Diego's Mission Beach

June 16, 2023

The fourth area location of La Jolla-based Bobboi Natural Gelato will open soon in San Diego's Mission Beach.

Opened in February 2014 by USD Alumni, Andrea Racca, who learned his craft studying at the Università del Gelato of Carpigiani near Bologna, Bobboi Gelato quickly became a hit due to its amazingly delicious frozen creations made using organic California ingredients. Bobboi's creative flavors include goat cheese & grape, vanilla & charcoal, mango & dark chocolate sorbet, vegan pistachio, and many more. In 2019, Bobboi opened its second location on Kettner Boulevard in San Diego's Little Italy neighborhood, followed by a third outpost operated inside the Little Italy Food Hall.

The newest Bobboi Natural Gelato store will open this month in the 300 square-foot unit across from Belmont Park in Mission Beach that last housed Cor di Gelato, which is relocating to Lisbon, Portugal. Like other branches, expect Bobboi to offer traditional gelateria feel with an array of flavors made with organic, local produce.

Bobboi Natural Gelato aims to open at 736 Ventura Place in San Diego's Mission Beach this June. For more information, visit bobboi.com.
