Zzang Hotdog & Chicken will bring Korean comfort foods to San Diego's Fashion Valley when it opens a location in the outdoor mall later this year.
The first San Diego location of Zzang Hotdog originally opened as Myungrand Hot Dogs within the H Mart food hall in Kearny Mesa in summer 2019. The eatery offers a menu of deep-fried hot dogs on a stick, stuffed with a variety of hot dog types, sausages, cheese and potato. The concept has since opened additional outlets within Oceanside's Regal Cinema Mall and Westfield UTC's Dining Terrace.
The new San Diego location of Zzang Hotdog will open in Fashion Valley Mall's food court this November 2023. In addition to hot dogs on a stick, the new branch will include Korean fried chicken on the menu, as well as popcorn chicken rice bowls, deep-fried dumplings and ZZang tteokbokki spicy rice cakes.
