Members-Only Cutwater Spirits Agave Club Coming To San Diego Padres Petco Park

September 19, 2023

San Diego-based Cutwater Spirits is bringing a new, members-only private club to Petco Park for the San Diego Padres 2024 season.

The San Diego Padres have announced the Cutwater Agave Club at Petco Park, a new club and premium seating area set to debut for the 2024 season. Sited on Petco Park's Terrace Level on the third baseline in the space formerly known as The Still, the multi-million dollar renovation will feature premium seating, private spaces, luxury finishes, privates restrooms, semi-inclusive food and beverage offerings, and a dedicated bar exclusively for club members. Non-club members will have the opportunity to enjoy the space and grab a beverage at a walk-up bar on the club's exterior.

The Cutwater Agave Club will sit underneath the Western Metal Supply building, facing the field and offering shade. The club will offer premium seating with an assortment of complimentary food and snacks with a rotating menu of Petco Park favorites.

The seating options at the Cutwater Agave Club will include plush lounge chairs sold in sets of four arranged next to their own table, a combination of lounge chairs with high-top seating and a drink rail sold in sets of four, a four-person tabletop seating option, and traditional stadium seats with soft padding.
Stadium seats start at $185 per game and Loge seats at $250 per game. In prior seasons, fans with a game ticket could access areas of this space, but starting in 2024, seats will be limited only to those who secure a Platinum Padres Membership with a ticket within the Cutwater Agave Club sections.

Earlier this year, the Padres announced plans for a $20 million renovation of its stadium-adjacent Gallagher Square (formerly Park at the Park). Plans include moving the children's ball field to the northwest corner of the lot; building a concrete gathering space and sloped amphitheater-style seating area facing the Sycuan stage and a new video board; replacing the grass with artificial turf; constructing a top tier, baseball-themed playground with a 35-foot baseball bat statue; and the addition of a fenced in, off-leash dog park, new bathrooms, a temporary pickleball court, and an expanded entrance on Ninth and J Streets. There will also be a new, elevated platform for the Tony Gwynn statue atop the hill, which will be dubbed "Tony Gwynn Terrace" and have its own viewing deck, tables and concession stand.
Founded in San Diego in 2016 by former Ballast Point executives Yuseff Cherney, Earl Kight and Jim Buechler (along with investment from Ballast founder Jack White), Cutwater Spirits quickly became a leader in the premium ready-to-enjoy cocktail market. The company produces premium mixers, canned cocktails and many types of spirits encompassing variations of whiskey, vodka, gin and rum. Cutwater Spirits is based in San Diego's Miramar neighborhood and operates a 50,000 square foot production facility, bar and restaurant. In 2019, the company was purchased by Anheuser-Busch InBev, the parent company behind Budweiser beer.
