North County San Diego's Tipping Pint Brewing Moving Into 30-Year-Old Vinaka Cafe In Carlsbad Village For Joint Coffee-Craft Beer Destination

October 23, 2024

North County San Diego's Tipping Pint Brewing will open a new tasting room inside the 30-year-old Vinaka Cafe in Carlsbad Village.

Last year, Dominic Burns and former Pizza Port Solana Beach head brewer Adam Jester opened Tipping Pint Brewing as part of the multi-tenant tasting room and production facility dubbed Hangar 76 in Oceanside. Sharing the space with urban winery, Carruth Cellars, Tipping Pint has been brewing out of a seven-barrel brewhouse sited in a 1,300-square-foot space within the 17,500-square-foot Hangar 76 warehouse facility.

Tipping Pint Brewing is now in the process of moving into the unit within Village Faire shopping plaza in Carlsbad Village occupied by Vinaka Cafe since 1993. Tipping Point head brewer and co-owner Adam Jester also owns Vinaka, so the two concepts will share the space to create a unique craft beer and coffee venue. When it unveils next year, expect Tipping Pint Brewing's new tasting room to serve its selection of locally-produced craft beers, including Kokua Pale Ale, Thanks Honey Blonde Ale, Otis Chocolate Porter, Mourning Haze IPA, and more. Vinaka will continue to serve coffee drinks, pastries, sandwiches and more.

Tipping Pint Brewing Company is anticipated to open in 2024 at 300 Carlsbad Village Drive, Suite 211, in San Diego's North County city of Carlsbad. For more information, visit tippingpintbeer.com.
