Arizona-Based Wine Girl Bar & Restaurant Bringing New Location To San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter

May 31, 2024

Wine Girl, the popular wine bar with locations in Scottsdale, AZ, and Napa Valley, will be opening a new location in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter.

Wine Girl was founded in Scottsdale, AZ, in 2020, by Trevor & Amy Johnston. In 2023, a second location was launched in Napa Valley, and the husband-and-wife owners are now working on new branches in Austin, TX, and in Gaslamp City Square on Fifth Avenue in downtown San Diego.
Wine Girl's San Diego location will offer 2,400 square-feet of space designed with pops of pastel pinks and a "girl-centric decor", as well as a private banquet room, swings for photo ops, and a merchandise wall with floor-to-ceiling items including home decorations, apparel, and gifts aimed at women and wine enthusiasts. The San Diego outpost will feature rotating wines on tap, a reserve bottle/by the glass list, locally crafted beers, spritzers, and other libations, along with a frequently-changing food menu.
Open seven days a week, Wine Girl San Diego will also host weekly and monthly events made popular by its two preceding locations, including paint and sip nights, television viewing parties, live podcast tapings, yoga and mimosas, Wine Girl Bottle Boys nights, and more.

Wine Girl is anticipated to open in early 2025 at 460 Fifth Avenue in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. For more, visit winegirl.com.
