Las Vegas-Based Juicy Burgers Opening New Location In San Diego's Point Loma Neighborhood

September 2, 2024

Las Vegas-based Juicy Burgers is opening a new location of its fast-casual burger eatery in San Diego's Point Loma.

Although the company claims its corporate headquarters is in Las Vegas, NV, according to its website, Juicy Burgers was founded by Nick Walpert in 1978 in San Diego. Besides the branch in San Diego's North Park that opened last year, another location once existed in Las Vegas.

Earlier this year, a second area eatery unveiled at 6345 El Cajon Boulevard in San Diego's College Area.  Another outpost was planned for 3825 Fifth Avenue in Hillcrest, but that location has fell through. The company hopes to open additional franchise eateries across the nation and is reportedly developing outposts in Miami, Dallas, Denver, Houston, and Orlando.

Juicy Burgers is taking over the 780 square-foot space that last housed Naked Cafe within Rosecrans Center in Point Loma. Like other locations, the menu is centered around create-your-own burgers with a variety of patties, toppings, sauces, and cheese, as well as signature burgers, wings, a variety of appetizers and desserts. The San Diego branches also offer beer and wine.

Juicy Burgers is expected to open this summer at 3555 Rosecrans Drive, Suite 109, in San Diego's Point Loma. For more information, visit juicyburgers.net.
