LAWineFest Celebrates 20th Anniversary With Star-Studded Wine Weekend In Long Beach

Just a couple of hours from San Diego, the 20th annual LAWineFest will celebrate two decades of wine tasting and community with a two-day event at Long Beach’s Harry Bridges Memorial Park on May 31 and June 1.

Recognized as Los Angeles County's largest wine-focused festival, LAWineFest is bringing together top-tier wineries, award-winning chefs, exclusive tastings, and live entertainment in a celebratory atmosphere with sweeping views of the harbor and the historic Queen Mary. This year’s milestone event features a diverse lineup of global wine producers, craft breweries, kombucha brands, and other beverage makers, all converging for a weekend of sipping, sampling, and socializing.

In addition to hundreds of pours, guests can enjoy live music from The Unofficial Slam Band, games, boutique shopping, and bites from local food trucks. Proceeds from the festival benefit the Los Angeles Boys & Girls Club, reinforcing the event’s commitment to supporting the local community.
One of the weekend’s highlights will be the exclusive VIP Garden experience, hosted by the newly independent Hotel Maya. In collaboration with Jackson Family Wines and La Crema Winery, the VIP area offers limited-access tastings of boutique wines - many produced in quantities under 2,500 cases per year - along with curated small plates from Fuego restaurant's Executive Chef Luis Torres. Notably, sommelier Michael Jordan will lead special tastings on Saturday, and on Sunday, guests can sample La Crema’s rare Nine Barrel wines, which are typically unavailable to the public. Fior di Latte, a Long Beach-based cheese shop, will also serve artisanal cheese and charcuterie.

Festival-goers purchasing tickets through LAWineFest.com will be entered into raffles for luxury prizes, including a $4,100 Wings of Hope watch and other high-end goods. General admission tickets are $100 and include a commemorative glass and unlimited tastings, while VIP access is priced at $150 and limited to 400 guests per day. Designated driver tickets are available for $25. Parking will be offered nearby, with complimentary Long Beach Transit shuttles running to and from the venue throughout the event.

With an expanded footprint and enhanced experiences, the 2025 edition of LAWineFest promises to be its most dynamic yet — blending wine education, fine food, artisan shopping, and laid-back SoCal vibes into a signature celebration of its 20-year legacy.

LAWineFest takes place at 1126 Queens Highway in Long Beach, CA, just a two hour drive from downtown San Diego. For tickets and a full list of participating wineries, visit LAWineFest.com.
