Mission Bayfest Returns To San Diego's Coast With Massive Music Lineup For 2025 | Slightly Stoopid, Sublime, 311, Steel Pulse, Rebelution And More Set To Headline

Mission Bayfest, one of Southern California’s premier beachfront music festivals, is returning to San Diego for its 2025 edition with its biggest lineup yet. Set against the scenic backdrop of Mariner’s Point Park in Mission Bay, the multi-day event will take place October 17-19, bringing together over 30 acts across two stages.

This year’s headliners include genre-defining artists Slightly Stoopid, 311, Sublime, Rebelution, Dirty Heads, Pepper, and Steel Pulse - acts that have shaped the modern California reggae and alternative sound. Their performances will anchor a weekend dedicated to high-energy sets, positive vibes, and a celebration of coastal music culture.

Mission Bayfest was founded by San Diegans Dominic Coleman, Joe Rinaldi, and DJ Mikey Beats, who sought to revive the spirit of the city's legendary '90s-era beach festivals. The result is a modern waterfront experience that blends laid-back beach vibes with top-tier musical production.

New for 2025, the festival will debut its Ventura Cove Stage, a secondary performance area set on a peninsula ringed by water and shaded by trees. This new addition offers a more intimate and tranquil viewing experience, surrounded by grassy lawns and Mission Bay’s natural beauty.
Beyond the music, Bayfest also features a robust culinary and shopping experience. A lineup of local food trucks and restaurants will serve bold bites and craft beverages in a shaded grove near the main stage. A curated vendor marketplace will highlight local artisans, designers, and creators, offering everything from exclusive festival merchandise to handmade goods.

For attendees seeking an upgraded experience, Bayfest offers both VIP and Platinum VIP ticket options. VIP guests can expect premium stage views, exclusive lounges, priority access, and even $1.50 tacos. Platinum VIP packages deliver an even more immersive and luxurious experience, with custom perks designed to elevate the entire weekend.

Tickets are now on sale. General Admission passes start at $80 per day or $230 for all three days. VIP packages begin at $349 for a single day and $998 for a weekend pass, while the Platinum VIP experience is priced at $2,999 for one day or $8,750 for all three.

Mission Bayfest 2025 promises to be a standout celebration of live music, community, and the Southern California lifestyle. With panoramic bay views, an expanded festival footprint, and a star-studded lineup, it’s set to be a weekend of sun, sound, and seaside revelry.
