This year's ArtWalk is part of the San Diego Foundation’s 50th anniversary celebration and reflects its mission of supporting equitable, resilient communities through cultural engagement. The nonprofit organization is the presenting sponsor for the 2025 festival, which is expected to draw thousands of visitors to the ARTS DISTRICT at Liberty Station.
Festivities begin Friday evening with a special ticketed Preview pARTy from 5-8pm, giving attendees early access to artwork and the opportunity to meet the participating artists before the weekend crowds. The evening will also include live music from James Taylor tribute band Never Die Young, followed by Fleetwood Max, as well as food vendors and drinks available for purchase. Tickets to the Friday night preview are available online at the cost of $25 and promo code SDVILLE saves $5 per ticket.
The main festival opens to the public on Saturday, August 2, from 10am to 6pm, and Sunday, August 3, from 10am to 5pm. Admission and parking are free both days. A perimeter fence will be in place throughout the venue to allow guests aged 21 and over to enjoy alcoholic beverages while freely exploring the grounds. Valid ID is required for a wristband.
This year’s lineup features artists from both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border, reinforcing ArtWalk’s commitment to binational cultural exchange. In addition to original works for sale, the festival will include KidsWalk, a dedicated area offering interactive art activities designed for children and families.

Proceeds from ArtWalk support ArtReach San Diego, a nonprofit that provides free or low-cost visual arts education to K-8 schools throughout San Diego County, with a focus on underserved Title I campuses. ArtWalk San Diego also organizes other annual events, including the Mission Fed ArtWalk in Little Italy, ArtWalk Carlsbad, and the fall chalk-art festival Bella Vita.
