Wine Girl, which first launched in Arizona in 2020 and later expanded to Napa Valley, has announced its San Diego debut for early October. The 2,400-square-foot space at 460 Fifth Avenue will deliver the same playful approach that has made its other locations a hit, combining rotating wines on tap, reserve bottles and by-the-glass pours, spritzers, locally crafted beers, and a curated selection of shareable bites.
Guests can also expect the brand’s signature Instagram-worthy interiors: pastel accents, chic seating, a private banquet room, and the famous Wine Girl swings built for snapping pictures with a glass in hand. Exclusive Wine Girl San Diego merchandise will be available at launch.
The grand opening party is set for Saturday, October 25, with a 6pm ribbon-cutting and 7pm champagne toast to officially welcome San Diego into the Wine Girl family. Owners Trevor and Amy Johnston are also hiring servers, bartenders, and support staff, with applications being accepted via @WineGirlSD on Instagram.
Once open, the Gaslamp location will host many of the weekly and monthly happenings that have become staples in Scottsdale and Napa Valley, from paint-and-sip nights and live podcast tapings to TV viewing parties, yoga and mimosas, and the ever-popular Wine Girl Bottle Boys nights.
Wine Girl San Diego will open in early October 2025 at 460 Fifth Avenue in the Gaslamp Quarter. For more information, visit winegirl.com.
