Harland Brewing To Open Full-Service Restaurant & Taproom At San Diego's Mission Bay Golf Course

Harland Brewing is expanding its San Diego footprint with plans to open a full-service restaurant and taproom at the Mission Bay Golf Course & Practice Center, bringing local craft beer, food, and hospitality to the city’s only night-lit golf facility.

The new Harland Brewing project will occupy a fully built-out 2,000-square-foot restaurant space that includes a ventless hood system, walk-in cooler, counter infrastructure, ADA-compliant restrooms, and thoughtfully designed finishes. The venue will also feature a gorgeous golf-course-facing patio - an ideal setting for casual dining, live music, and family-friendly events. Ample surface parking accessible directly from North Mission Bay Drive will provide convenience for guests, staff, and deliveries alike.

Harland will have the exclusive opportunity to serve all on-site users breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks, offering a full menu that complements its acclaimed lineup of craft beers. The concept will join the brewery’s growing collection of hospitality-driven destinations, including its forthcoming 4S Ranch restaurant, a South Park brewpub, and the new The Ocotillo at Harland in Scripps Ranch.
The move underscores Harland’s broader evolution from a production-focused brewery into a full-scale hospitality brand. As the company prepares to close its One Paseo tasting room later this year, it continues to invest in locations that emphasize atmosphere, food, and community connection.

Set against the backdrop of the Mission Bay Golf Course, the location offers a unique environment within city limits. Designed by Ted Robinson, former president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, the 18-hole executive course spans 46 acres and 2,719 yards, and it remains the only golf course in San Diego equipped for evening play. The partnership between Harland and the city-operated course will add a lively social hub to the already beloved facility, creating a new go-to spot for golfers and locals alike.

Operated by the City of San Diego’s Parks and Recreation Department, the Mission Bay Golf Course & Practice Center is a long-standing community favorite, serving thousands of golfers annually and famously known as the site where a young Tiger Woods once won a Junior World title. With Harland’s upcoming addition, the course is poised to become not only a recreational destination but also a vibrant gathering spot for locals and visitors alike.

The new Harland at Mission Bay Golf is currently under construction and expected to debut in 2026 at 2702 N Mission Bay Drive. For more information, visit harlandbeer.com.
