Gemignani, a 13-time World Pizza Champion, built Slice House as a way to bring high-quality, technique-driven pizza into a casual, approachable format. Since launching franchising in 2022, the brand has expanded rapidly throughout California and other states, positioning itself as a go-to option for artisan pizza without the formality of full-service dining.
The Carlsbad location will anchor Slice House within Plaza Paseo Real, a busy retail center that draws steady foot traffic from surrounding residential neighborhoods, office users, and shoppers. While interior details and operating hours have not yet been announced, the concept typically emphasizes quick service, counter ordering, and a neighborhood-friendly atmosphere suited for both dine-in and takeout.
