Participants will check in at Memorial Park on Third Avenue to receive their official Taste of Third Passport, granting access to curated “tastes” from more than 20 participating restaurants, breweries, bars, and specialty shops. From there, guests are free to explore at their own pace, moving between H Street and E Street while enjoying live music and the vibrant energy that has transformed Downtown Chula Vista into a true South Bay dining destination.
This year’s lineup showcases a diverse mix of longtime neighborhood staples and innovative newcomers. Confirmed participants include Acqua e Farina Trattoria Romana, The Balboa South, Brewjeria Taproom & Kitchen, Chula Vista Brewing, Don Pedro Taco Shop, Farmer’s Table, Grindhouse, KFC, La Bella Pizza, La Nacional, Silver Dollar Cocktail Lounge, Smoke and Glory, SweetLife Ice Cream & Treats, Thr3e Punk Ales Brewing Co., Vogue Tavern, and more to be announced. Alcohol tastings will be available at select locations for guests 21 and over with valid ID.
Taste of Third continues to highlight the global flavors and independent spirit that define Chula Vista’s historic downtown. Whether you’re craving handcrafted pasta, neighborhood taco shop classics, small-batch craft beer, or sweet treats to finish the evening, the event offers a one-night snapshot of the area’s evolving culinary scene.
