San Diego’s Tribute Pizza Hosts Fifth Annual Mike’s Hot Honey Party In North Park On March 28, Featuring City's Top Chefs & Bartenders

San Diego’s North Park neighborhood will once again heat up with sweet and spicy flavors as Tribute Pizza hosts its Fifth Annual Mike’s Hot Honey Party on Saturday, March 28, bringing together an all-star lineup of chefs, bartenders, and DJs for one of the city’s most anticipated food events of the year.

Taking place at Tribute Pizza, the event will feature two sessions from 4:30-7pm and 8:30-10:30pm, offering guests an all-you-can-eat experience where every dish is infused with Mike’s Hot Honey. The one-night-only culinary collaboration includes a diverse group of guest chefs from San Diego and beyond, including Brad Wise of Trust Restaurant Group, José Cepeda of Quixote at Hotel Lafayette, Randy Reppel of Brooklyn’s Roebling Pizza, Sono of São Paulo’s Fatz Delicias, and Gan Suebsarakham of Stella Jean Ice Cream, all cooking alongside the Tribute kitchen team.

Complementing the food, the beverage program features a lineup of some of San Diego’s top bartenders, including Pete Shea of Swan Bar, Frida Lucia of Aruba Day Drink, Beau Du Bois of Puesto Group, Anna Canrinus of Mabel’s Gone Fishing, Geoff Longenecker of Seven Caves Distilling, Maya Bentley and Gareth Moore of Real Del Valle, Christian Siglin of Happy Medium, and the Tribute bar team, each crafting creative cocktails designed to highlight the signature sweet heat of Mike’s Hot Honey.

The evening will also feature live DJ sets from Delaceiba, Like, Nebula, and B3ttyBloop, with talent from both New York City and Southern California soundtracking both sessions. Mike’s Hot Honey founder Mike Kurtz will be in attendance alongside his team, adding a personal touch to the celebration of the brand that has become a staple in kitchens across the country.

Founded in Brooklyn in 2010, Mike’s Hot Honey has grown from a small-batch experiment into one of the most recognizable condiment brands in the United States, known for its balance of sweetness and heat and its versatility across both savory and sweet dishes. Its continued collaboration with Tribute Pizza reflects a shared commitment to creativity and community within the culinary world.

Tribute Pizza, located in a restored Art Deco post office in North Park, has been a cornerstone of San Diego’s pizza scene since opening in 2016. Founded by Matt Lyons, the restaurant is known for its wood-fired pies that draw inspiration from iconic pizzerias across the country, including its popular Bee’s Mode pizza featuring soppressata, pickled peppers, and Mike’s Hot Honey.

Tickets to the the Fifth Annual Mike’s Hot Honey Party are available online. This is a 21+ event, and tickets are very limited, with organizers noting that only a small number remain available.
