May 31, 2015

Take a self-guided, culinary walking tour of San Diego's top dining neighborhood at this year's Taste of Little Italy on Wednesday, June 17, from 5-9pm. Stroll down the streets with one of two Taste Passports and experience the neighborhood’s one-of-a-kind eateries as restaurants will open their doors for food lovers to enjoy a taste of one of their most popular dishes. We are raffling off two combined route tickets and have all the information, so read on and be sure to enter!

The annual Taste of Little Italy provides each ticketholder with a Taste Passport mapping out a list of participating restaurants and their specific menu offerings and diners walk an easy route to each restaurant and receive the eatery’s tasting in exchange for a stamp on their passport! There are three different passport routes for foodies to choose from – a south route, a north route and a combined route, each route features over a dozen different restaurants.

A single route is priced at $30 and the full route is priced at $45. Each year approximately 30 restaurants participate. Participating restaurants include Ballast Point, Bencotto, Buon Appetito, Bracero Cocina de Raiz, Caffe Italia, Craft & Commerce, Davanti Enoteca, Ironside Fish & Oyster, Kettner Exchange, Isola, Indigo Grill, Juniper and Ivy, Monello, Mona Lisa, Pan Bon, Prepkitchen, Queenstown Public House, Underbelly, The Waterfront and more!

Visitors can experience the best culinary hot spots all in one evening, while embracing the charm of Little Italy as the sun goes down - from twinkle lighted sidewalks and live music through the streets to strolling through this beautiful district and learning about the history of Little Italy from the neighborhood’s public art installations.
