Dobson's Bar & Restaurant To Host Exclusive Wine Dinner On March 22

Dobson’s Bar & Restaurant will host its first Rudd Oakville Estate wine dinner on Tuesday, March 22 starting at 6:30pm. The dinner features five courses prepared by Executive Chef Martin San Roman, thoughtfully paired with a variety of Rudd Oakville Estate wines by special guest Oscar Henquet, Managing Director of Rudd Oakville Estate.

Rudd Oakville Estate Winery of Napa Valley has continuously received accolades and awards for producing some of the greatest wines in the country. Chef Martin San Roman has created a menu that perfectly pairs and showcases select offerings of these award-winning Rudd wines.

The menu begins with a Petit Foie Gras au Torchon paired with Rudd sparkling wine. Next comes the Tomato Farci Aux Goat Cheese-Prosciutto and Oysters served with 2014 Rudd Mt. Veeder Sauvignon Blanc. The well-crafted meal continues with the leek wrapped scallops on a bed of spaghetti squash in a beurre blanc sauce topped with wild salmon caviar partnered with a 2012 Edge Hill Bacigalupi Chardonnay. Next up is the roasted Texas quail with sherry sauce aux Navets paired with 2011 Rudd Samantha’s Cabernet. The last course consists of Colorado rack of lamb with wild cherry sauce on apple confit suited up with 2012 Rudd Samantha’s Cabernet. The special meal concludes with chocolate trio fantasy served with Edge Hill Port.Chef San Roman and Oscar Henquet will be doing the honors ad speaking on each dish and their particular wine pairing.
