Mission Brewery To Open Pacific Beach Tasting Room In 2017

November 27, 2016

San Diego's Mission Brewery is in the process of installing a tasting room and retail shop at 1380 Garnet Avenue in Pacific Beach. Established in 2007 by Dan Selis, Mission Brewery currently operates out of the historic Wonder Bread Building in the East Village. The PB tasting room will be their first offsite outpost and will serve onsite, as well as offer growlers, cans, and bottles for takeout.

Mission Brewery was originally established in 1913. Avid homebrewer Dan Selis re-established the brand and opened in a humble brewery addition to a restaurant in UTC. The brewery soon outgrew the space and relocated to a shared warehouse brewery in Chula Vista. After a few years, they secured the prime Wonder Bread space near Petco Park in San Diego's East Village. Mission now has over 40 national and international craft brewing awards under its belt.

The new Mission Brewery Tasting Room in Pacific Beach anticipates an early 2017 opening. For more information, visit missionbrewery.com.
