Little Italy's Sirena Cocina Introduces Ceviche Wednesdays Starting December 7

December 1, 2016

Fresh off celebrating its 2 year anniversary in San Diego's Little Italy neighborhood, Sirena Cocina Latina is hoping to make Wednesdays everyone’s new favorite day of the week. What better way to celebrate making it halfway through the work week than with a flight of three ceviches, freshly created by a different celebrity guest chef each week, and a cold craft beer, Baja wine or specialty cocktail? Starting this December, Sirena is introducing Ceviche Wednesdays!

Beginning December 7, Sirena Cocina Latina and Executive Chef Jaime Chavez are inviting all ceviche lovers to experience Ceviche Wednesdays, when talented pros from both sides of the border demonstrate their ceviche mastery from 5pm -9pm. Come for the ceviche, stay for the full menu of Latin America-inspired fare, and don’t forget wine. Each Ceviche Wednesday will spotlight one of the 24 Valle de Guadalupe wineries represented by La Mision Associates and Michelle Martain. The optional wine tastings will include 3 to 5 wines for only $15.

Guest chefs participating in upcoming Ceviche Wednesdays at Sirena include Master Chef Season 6 winner Claudia Sandoval on December 7, Olympia Oyster Bar founder Melissa Mayer on December 14, owner of acclaimed Ensenada destination La Guerrerense Sabina Bandera on December 21, and many more.

On Ceviche Wednesday, diners will have the option of ordering individual ceviches, featuring seafood, veggies, or tenderloin, for $9 each from the à la carte menu, or a “chef’s whim” tasting flight of three guest-chef created ceviches and a craft beer for $21.
