Pita Jungle offers an eclectic blend of fresh ingredients, creative energy, and good times. Pita Jungle is now open in Hillcrest at 1045 University Avenue, San Diego, CA 92103.
Pita Jungle’s menu features a variety of salads, hummus and taboule, healthy burgers, wood fired pizzas, pitas and fresh seafood. The concept is based on offering a healthful and natural cuisine abounding with vegetarian and vegan options, crafted within the principles of the Mediterranean diet. The menu flourishes with items that seek to balance greens, grains, legumes, meats, and fruits.

Pita Jungle has opened in the renovated Charles Jurman Building, a historic building which has since been meticulously restored to its original exterior design. Pita Jungle has incorporated the historical significance of the building into the design and decor. The historic landmark boasts a unique atmosphere that complements the restaurant’s vibe.
The 150-seat, full-service restaurant features an outdoor patio, a wood fired oven, an open kitchen and a bar serving boutique wines, domestic, premium and craft beers.
Embodied by the dynamism of the staff, local art rotations adorning the walls, and an eclectic blend of music ranging from classic to Cuban, Jazz to Indy, Pita Jungle has evoked a cult-like admiration that is easy to embrace.
