Bliss 101 is the setting for the launch of pro-surfer Rob Machado’s photography this Saturday, May 5 from 6 to 9 p.m. Bliss 101 will become the first and only local gallery to offer the surfer’s photography, a collection of images from Machado’s worldwide travels as well as his life in Encinitas and Cardiff, for sale to the public.

Rob Machado, a Cardiff native, will be present to meet guests and sign autographs. During this event, a percentage of proceeds from sale of Machado’s photography and autographed t-shirts will benefit the Rob Machado Foundation, a non-profit supporting educational programs focused on helping children understand their contribution towards a healthy earth. The evening will also include live music, food from Rimel’s and Solace & Moonlight Lounge, drinks from Snakehunter Beer, Primo Beer and Witch Creek Winery, and Bliss 101’s own collection of locally sourced and reclaimed gifts and décor.
