The 2nd Annual San Diego Soul Food Festival returns today, Saturday, July 7th. Held at the Qualcomm Stadium practice field from 12pm to 6pm, this all day event will feature samplings of some of the best soul food and barbecue around, as well as cold brews from Heineken, live music, and a nice case of the 'itis.
In addition to more comfort food than you can handle, the San Diego Soul Food Festival will also include vibrations from several bands and live entertainment, including a performance Bernard Jackson from the R&B Group, Surface. Beer sponsor Heineken will be in attendance offering samples of their brews, cocktails and special drinks will be offered (certain specialty drinks excluded from price of admission), and there will be tented areas to enjoy some shade, if desired.
The San Diego Soul Food Festival is a 21 and over event. Tickets are still available for $60 and includes all you can eat from 12:00pm to 3pm and 2 drinks that include adult beverages.
