Chef Dawn Parks is the New Lady Chef for St. Germain's Cafe

Chef Dawn Parks
July 14, 2012

This August, Chef Dawn Parks of The Wild Thyme Company-Catering and Events becomes the third chef in St. Germain's Cafe & Bistro's successful Lady Chef Series, a quarterly guest chef series featuring San Diego’s top female chefs. Chef Dawn Parks will collaborate with St. Germain Cafe’s Executive Chef Kaitlin Ramos to create a flavorful, female-influenced Lady Chef dinner menu beginning August 1st and available throughout that month.
St. Germain’s Café’s previous Lady Chefs have included Isabel Cruz (February) and Kari Rich (May), yet Chef Dawn Parks is the first  guest chef to cross over from the realm of catering.

With an emphasis on seasonal menu options, Chef Dawn Parks crafts cuisine both classic and trendsetting. Prior to The Wild Thyme Company, her culinary career included time at The Sir Francis Drake Hotel’s Scala Bistro, Aloha Restaurants, Inc. where she was the corporate chef, Rice Restaurant at the W Hotel in San Diego and at Salk Institute where she operated the café and managed the catering production for daytime events.
