There's no better way to sample the culinary offerings of certain San Diego communities than by participating in the "Taste of" restaurant walks that have become ever more popular in recent years. Discover Pacific Beach will host the annual Heart of Pacific Beach Restaurant Walk on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from 4:00pm-9:00pm.
This year, attendees will enjoy a leisurely stroll between Everts and Lamont St. while sampling a great variety of menus from local PB restaurants for only $20. As part of this year’s event, and unlike other community tasting walks in the past, there will be craft beer tasting at two of the locations.
Participating Restaurants include Yogurt on the Rocks, La Cosa Pizza, Café Athena, Great News!, Papa Luna’s, The Fish Shop, Pata Negra, Costa Brava, Caffe Bella Italia, , Mr. Frostie, RT’s Longboard Grill, Sugar and Scribe, Tap Room, Woodstock’s Pizza, Typhoon Saloon, Fred’s Mexican Café and Brewley’s Pint. More are often added as the event nears.
Tickets will be available for purchase online at www.govavi.com, at Woodstock’s Pizza, located on 1221 Garnet Ave., and at Pacific Beach Tuesday Farmers’ Market that takes place on Bayard St. and Garnet Ave every Tuesday from 2pm-7pm.
