Join celebrated Chef Adam Cho of Katsuya by S+ARCK, for a sumptuous culinary exploration of sushi and sake pairings at “The Art of Sushi & Sake,” the latest Andaz Salon event. The event will be held on Tuesday, September 18 at 6 pm, beginning with sake tasting in the Katsuya by S+ARCK atrium. Guests will then move upstairs to the Ivy Rooftop at Andaz San Diego for an interactive lesson in the art of sushi making followed by another paired tasting.

· Sushi Making: Chef Adam Cho will demonstrate his signature approach to preparing sushi, showcasing a variety of rolls, ingredients, and techniques used to create the delicious selections served daily at Katsuya by S+ARCK. During the demonstration, guests will also explore the history and traditions of the cuisine and its place in Japanese and American cultures.
Andaz Salon, a regular series of events held at Andaz San Diego, offers the opportunity for guests and neighbors to engage in creative inspiration under the guidance of a unique event host who leads a spirited discussion with a collection of local influencers. From art exhibits to wine and cheese immersions, local music and dance performances, and culinary demonstrations, guests experience the local scene through the eyes of leading cultural arbiters.
