San Diegans and surrounding cities are invited to the inaugural ‘Night & Day Street Fest’ on Saturday, October 13th from 4:00pm – midnight on 14th St between K St & Imperial Ave in the East Village, San Diego. Named after U-T San Diego’s entertainment platform, Night&Day, ‘Night & Day Street Fest’ is a full-service lifestyle event highlighting music, art, food, and craft beer.
Spanning several blocks, ‘Night & Day Street Fest’ will host musical artists G-Love, Donovan Frankenreiter, Pato Banton and Everest on the main stage at 14th + K st. and local artists The Nervous Wreckords, The Styletones, Low Volts and Mattson 2 on a second stage at 14th + Imperial.
"We want to super-serve the community with an incredible experience," says U-T Director of Lifestyle and Entertainment Chris Cantore. "Our plan is to start small and grow the event, organically, over time. Rather than having a $50 to $100 ticket price, we're making a strategic move to keep the event accessible to more people at $25 a head. Night & Day Street Fest is really all about celebrating San Diego.”
With first-rate music and craft beer locked, the Night&Day Street Fest will also incorporate interactive art, local restaurants, and a pop-up surf museum -- details to be released soon at www.NDStreetFest.com and here on SanDiegoVille.
With the recent launch of www.NDStreetFest.com, the site will bring you up-to-date announcements, music downloads, behind-the-scenes artist interviews, social media interaction, photo-albums, and webisodes hosted by the U-T Entertainment staff.
