August 4, 2014

ArtWalk is headed back to Liberty Station from Saturday, Aug. 16 to Sunday, Aug. 17, for the ninth edition of the annual art festival! Formally known as ArtWalk on The Bay, ArtWalk NTC @ Liberty Station will reconvene at the Naval Training Center grounds for a weekend of art, food, live entertainment and fun for residents and visitors of all ages. Although this event is free to attend, we're giving SanDiegoVille readers a chance to win a $20 food vendor gift certificate. Just enter your email below!

This year’s event will feature over 175 local, regional and international artists. Art showcased will cover nearly every medium, from oil painting to sculpture, to photography to jewelry. Attendees 21 and over are invited to sip on Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio and Claret from Coppola, and a selection of brews from Stone Brewing at the new Wine & Beer Pavilion. An artistic selection of food options will also be available for guests to enjoy - everything from tacos by Porkyland Mexican Grill, lobster bake and lobster rolls from Taste of Maine, sausage sandwiches by Tarantino Gourmet Sausage, Hawaiian food from Chris’ Onolicious Grinds to woodfire pizza by San Diego Pizza Company and Ms. Patty Melt and Chop Sooey Food Trucks.
ArtWalk NTC @ Liberty Station will offer an eclectic lineup of entertainment for guests throughout the weekend. Musicians such as Blue Eyed Son, Fantino, G Burns Jug Band, Heavy Guilt Acoustic Duo, Midnight Pine, Robin Henkel, Sahara Grim Quartet, Teagan Taylor Band, Todo Mundo, Tolan Shaw, and Triumph of the Wild Boy will play. The lineup schedule gives the opportunity for guests to enjoy a different show throughout each day of the festival. There will also be two interactive booths set up, partnering with ART - A Reason To Survive and Scripps to invite guests to get their hands dirty and creative with artistic activities.

ArtWalk NTC @ Liberty Station will be located at Ingram Plaza, at 2645 Historic Decatur Rd (corner of Historic Decatur and Roosevelt Road), and will run from 10am until 6pm on Saturday, Aug. 16 and Sunday, Aug, 17.
