After six successful bi-annual events in Las Vegas, Red Dragon is hitting the open road to bring the Great American Foodie Fest to San Diego from Friday, March 27, through Sunday, March 29, at Qualcomm Stadium. The Great American Foodie Fest will feature more than 50 of the nation’s top food trucks and food vendors highlighted by East Coast and Midwest favorite, White Castle, along with a number of celebrity trucks from The Food Network, History Channel, Cooking Channel and Travel Channel. White Castle, America’s first fast-food hamburger chain, will serve its signature sliders fresh for the first time in Southern California. We have 2 weekend passes to attend for one of our lucky readers! Keep reading and be sure to enter.

Participating food trucks will include Southern California favorites such as Middle Feast Food Truck, winners of season five of Food Network’s “The Great Food Truck Race;” Crepes Bonaparte, a local favorite that has been featured on cooking shows such as “Giada;” White Rabbit, a Filipino-fusion truck and many more.

In addition to a wide variety of food and drink options, the festival will feature a beer garden and live entertainment, along with carnival rides, games, eating competitions and more. Unlimited general admission to Great American Foodie Fest will start at $8 a day or $13 for a weekend pass per person if purchased in advance, and $10 a day or $15 for a weekend pass if purchased at the gate. Active military personnel and veterans, seniors 59 and older, and San Diego County first responders will receive a discount of $2 off ticket purchased at the gate with a valid ID. Individual food and drink items are priced per purchase. Parking will be available at no cost. The festival will be open from 4pm to midnight on Friday, noon to midnight on Saturday and noon to 8pm on Sunday.
