 Bacon & Barrels returns to San Diego's Embarcadero Marina Park South on Saturday, May 9, for a day devoted to America's favorite porky pleasure! A food festival for bacon lovers everywhere, Bacon & Barrels is an all-day event showcasing local chefs’ imaginative recipes incorporating bacon, and highlights the best artisan and craft barrel beverages such as bourbon, beer, wine, and scotch. Bacon & Barrels includes over 100 food and libation booths with all-inclusive tastings from some of Southern California’s hottest boutique wineries and unique, high-end small batch whiskey, scotch, tequila, gin and rum from local artisan purveyors as well as live music from popular indie bands. There will also be a selection of craft beers to taste while enjoying a variety of inventive and unexpected bites from participating chefs.

There will be unlimited pours of exclusive craft beers from Left Coast Brewing Company, Stone Brewing Co, Enegren Brewing Company, Oskar Blues Brewery, Mike Hess Brewing, Coronado Brewing, Thorn St. Brewery, Ironfire Brewing Company and more; samples from artisan spirits providers such as Liberty Call Distilling, Channel Islands Distillery, The California Spirits Company and Deep Eddy Vodka; as well as culinary surprises from San Diego's best chefs and restaurants. Live music will hit the main stage from party band, 90’s With Attitude, and indie favorite, Black Crystal Wolf Kids.

Tickets are available online for those 21 years old and up. General admission passes are $50, early entry GA are $70, VIP tickets are $90 and designated drivers can get in for $20. VIP tickets are very limited and include access to a VIP festival lounge with VIP only tastings from top chefs and mixologists, passed samples and preferred seating near demonstration stage. All food and drink tastings are included in the ticket price. General admission ticket holders are admitted from 1pm-5pm and VIP and early admission tickets enter at 12pm. 

The San Diego Bacon & Barrels festival will donate a percentage of all ticket sales to support under-served children and the Create Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports farm programs. Bacon & Barrels will also incorporate its proprietary Environmental Event process, with a goal of 95% of all event trash diverted from the Landfill.
