Food Network star Beau MacMillan, James Beard Foundation Award winner Carrie Nahabedian, along with A.R. Valentien Chefs' Jeff Jackson, Kelli Crosson, and Olivier Bioteau will be on hand to discuss the creative process behind the evening’s fare as they present a five-course menu under the stars, paired with wines from Nickel & Nickel, Far Niente and En Route vineyards.
The James Beard Celebrity Chef dinner will begin at 6:30pm with a bountiful reception. Offerings will include suckling pig prepared in a Caja China box, steamed buns, lobster Papillion, oak roasted oyster Rockefeller and more. After the reception, diners will be seated and appetizers will be served including jeweled farro verde with terrine of foie gras, stuffed baja chocolate clams, and an heirloom carrot, orange, arugula and burrata salad. For the main course, there will be oak-roasted dry aged kobe sirloin, duck fat and thyme basted Hasselback potatoes, glazed copper river sockeye salmon and more!
