San Diego's Crystal Pier is the setting for a recent viral video of a man with a perfect fishing cast hooking a drone on his first try, caught on the drone's mounted camera! The video currently has over 1.5 million views on YouTube.
In the video, you can see the drone zooming in on several people fishing as it circles Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach on August 6. One fisherman appears particularly annoyed and in the next instant, he is seen doing a running cast, which hooks the drone on his first try. Piloted by 19 year old Tice Ledbetter, the drone was landed undamaged, and as seen in the video, Ledbetter was not too pleased with his drone becoming someone's catch of the day.
