Table No. 10 Packs Up Shop In San Diego's East Village

August 3, 2015

Table No. 10 is no more. Following dinner service on Sunday, August 2, the restaurant has closed for business, open for only a little more than a year. Table No. 10 was a joint venture for executive chef Jason Gethin and Cooper McLaughlin, who previously operated burger eatery, The Corner, at the space. Rumor has it that the two owners could not come to agreements on several matters, so they closed their business, possibly readying the business/restaurant for sale.

We are very sad to see Table No. 10 go. This is the latest restaurant to fall in the East Village, a tough location with high expectations. No word yet on what will happen to the space at 369 10th Avenue or where Chef Jason Gethin will cook at next, but he is scheduled to participate in a fried chicken throwdown at Local Habit on August 18. We will be sure to let you know when we learn more.
