The Fish Market In Downtown San Diego To Reopen On August 3 | Top Of Market Still Under Renovation After Fire

August 2, 2015

San Diego waterfront restaurants The Fish Market and it's second story, upscale eatery Top of the Market have been closed since May 26 when over $1 million in damage was caused by a grease fire that took place during opening hours. After undergoing a partial remodel, The Fish Market will reopen for service on Monday, August 3. Top of the Market is anticipated to open this fall, as the restaurant is still recovering from the damage and using the tragedy to modernize its space.

The Fish Market will open at 11am on Monday, August 3, with a new color palette, ceiling treatments, fabrics and wall coverings.
The sushi bar, oyster bar, cocktail bar and retail market will all be open as well. The restaurant originally opened in 1989. Top of the Market is scheduled to reopen in 6-8 weeks.

The Fish Market is located at 750 North Harbor Drive in downtown San Diego. For more information, call (619) 232-3474 or visit thefishmarket.com.
