The RMD Group, known for such downtown staples as Don Chido, Rustic Root, Side Bar, Ciro's Pizza and more, have taken over the former Común Taqueria space at 935 J Street in San Diego's East Village and will open Salvucci's - a modernized yet old-school Italian cuisine concept.
Salvucci’s Ristorante will offer dishes using recipes that have been "passed down from generation to generation." The menu includes daily homemade pastas, hand tossed wood-fired pizzas, fresh seasonal salads, and house baked breads.
