Last week, uberPOOL launched in San Diego. To introduce San Diego to this new car share option and to ensure a safe Cinco de Mayo weekend, from May 5, starting at 5pm, to May 8 at 2am, Uber is making it easier for people to make a safe choice, offering FREE rides on uberPOOL trips within the splash zone all weekend long. Enter the promo code SAFECINCO and choose uberPOOL, and your rides within the splash zone are complimentary. Starting or ending your trip outside of the splash zone? Don’t worry, Uber will take $5 off your ride to help you get wherever you’re headed (valid for up to 6 trips).
