Inaugural San Diego Gourmet Pizza Fest Brings The Heat To Liberty Station On September 17 | Save On Passes & Enter To Win Tickets

In 2013, TripAdvisor named San Diego as the United State's top city for pizza, and on Saturday, September 17, find out why when the inaugural San Diego Gourmet Pizza Festival takes over Liberty Station as pizza-centric restaurants from America's Finest City battle it out for the title of 'Best Gourmet Pizza', with all proceeds benefitting the Mesa College Foundation. The San Diego Gourmet Pizza Festival will feature sampling from over twelve great restaurants in San Diego County, including Red Oven Artisanal Pizza, URBN Pizza, Oggi's, Solare Ristorante, Mamma Mia, Isola Pizza Bar, Sunny's Pizza, Napoleone Pizza House, Pizza e Birra, Mr. Moto, Badass Pizza & Brew, and more. Attendees will get to sample each restaurants’ pizza and vote for their favorite. There will be two awards given out - Best Gourmet Pizza in San Diego (judged by an expert panel) and People’s Choice Best Pizza (popular vote). There will also be the local craft beer tastings available, include offerings from Mission Brewery, Oggi's, Helix Brewing, 32 North, Mike Hess Brewing and more.
Tickets to the San Diego Gourmet Pizza Festival are available online for $35 and include one sample of all pizza tastings and up to 10 craft beer tastings. Promo code SDVILLE saves $15 per ticket. Proceeds from the San Diego Gourmet Pizza Festival will benefit the Mesa College Foundation (sdmesa.edu) a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in San Diego, California, created for the purpose of supporting student success by providing scholarships, emergency assistance, food cards, purchasing equipment, and funding innovation.
