Little Italy’s favorite Mexican restaurant, Bracero Cocina de Raiz, is now serving a bottomless mimosa weekend brunch. Based on authentic Mexican family recipes, Chef Javier Plascencia's new weekend brunch menu is hearty, heartwarming, and available every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3pm.
Bracero's brunch menu includes traditional Mexican dishes with a Baja twist. Plates range from huevos and chilaquiles, to menudo and pozole to traditional pan dulce and fruit bowls. Highlights include the El Poderoso (Rib Eye Steak & Eggs) served with chilaquiles, two eggs and heaping sides of refired chorizo beans. A Mexican classic, the Machaca con Huevos offers deliciously tender stewed meat mixed with scrambled eggs and served with smokey roasted potatoes, chorizo refried beans, and freshly pressed flour tortillas. If you’re feeling adventurous or need to get rid of the winter blues, order the Menudo - a warm bowl of beef tripe stew with corn and topped with cilantro, onion, oregano and radishes. Squeeze in a hint of lime for that extra touch of flavor.
