January 10, 2017

Rancho Sante Fe's newest French restaurant, Ponsaty’s, is launching Sunday brunch starting this weekend. Ponsaty's Sunday brunch features a full buffet that includes such options as eggs Benedict Florentine, sea water poached King crab legs, herb crusted prime ribeye, not to mention an add-on for bottomless mimosas and bloody marys.

Located in Rancho Santa Fe, Ponsaty’s serves modern French cuisine incorporated with flavors from California and the Mediterranean. Using locally sourced meats and herbs from the front patio’s herb garden, the brunch menu showcases carefully prepared dishes like Egg Benedict Florentine with Spinach and Mornay Sauce, Sea Water Poached King Crab Leg with French Cocktail Sauce and Lemon, Baked Scottish Salmon with Vermouth Butter Sauce, Herb Crusted Prime Ribeye with Horseradish Sauce, and Oneki Basque Cheese with Walnut Bread and Black Cherry Jam. Sunday brunch at Ponsaty's costs $25 for kids 12-and-under and $49 for adults with an added option of bottomless mimosas and bloody mary's for an additional $15 per person.

Ponsaty's first opened in summer 2016. Owned and operated by The Grand Restaurant Group (Bellamy's Restaurant in Escondido and The Ranch at Bandy Canyon), the restaurant's kitchen is helmed by 5th generation French master chef Patrick Ponsaty, who, along with Bernard Guillas of The Marine Room, is one of only two French Master Chefs.

Ponsaty’s is located at 6106 Paseo Delicias in Rancho Santa Fe. For more information, visit ponsatys.com and check out the sample brunch menu below.
